How custom measuring worksMy wall isn't plumb. Is a frameless door still possible?
Usually, yes. Deviation is normal in older shore cottages and historic borough bathrooms. Frameless glass handles it through hinge selection, a scribed wall channel, or a slightly tapered panel. What matters is that the deviation is measured before glass is cut rather than discovered on install day.

Common specifications include three-eighths-inch glass for many frameless doors and panels, with half-inch glass considered for some tall or wide panels. Framed systems often use thinner glass because the frame carries the load. An installer should size hardware to the final panel.
Glass thickness and hardware guideIs a protective coating worth it?
On the barrier islands and anywhere with hard water, yes — it makes squeegeeing effective rather than optional. It is not a substitute for wiping the glass down; nothing is.
Coatings and glass careCan I request a quote for a steam shower?
Yes. Steam enclosures may need full-height glass, a transom, head sealing, and coordination with the steam system. Note it in the form so a referred installer can decide whether to respond and assess the requirements.

Often, but access must be checked before fabrication. An installer may measure the elevator, stairwell, and turns and consider a split-panel layout if one large panel cannot reach the bathroom.
