Curved corner enclosure, Long Branch condo
An oceanfront condo with an existing curved shower base and an aluminum enclosure at the end of its life. The replacement had to fit through the building.
The constraints
- The base radius did not match its nominal specification, so glass had to be cut to the installed curve.
- Elevator depth capped the longest panel that could reach the unit intact.
- The building allowed work only within a set weekday window.

How we solved it
Curve measured on site
The radius was templated from the installed base rather than taken from the base manufacturer's drawing.
Segmented layout for access
Two shaped panels with a slim vertical seam delivered the same open feel and fit the elevator.
One-visit install
Fabrication was staged so the entire install fit inside the building's permitted work window.

Result
The corner opened up visually, the seam is barely readable from across the room, and nothing had to be carried up eleven flights.
